School-agers and teachers working very hard to get 50-75 pumpkins at a pumpkin patch on a Friday professional day, while the pre-schoolers are at daycare planting grass seed believed to be magic pumpkin seeds in their back yard.
On the following Monday, the pre-schoolers arrive at daycare to find that the Group back yard is covered in pumpkins! Their magic pumpkin seeds worked!
Our CentresHAPPY FARM CHILDREN’S CENTRES boasts a licensed School-Age Centre for eight children, a licensed Preschool (advanced) Centre for eight students on the same premises which is adjacent to HAPPY FARM’s Group Centre. Group Centre has an enrolment of 32 full-time children ages 2.5 to 5. Of the 32 children, HAPPY FARM is licensed for four children ages 2.5. HAPPY FARM has been offering the best of child care for almost 20 years and children from all parts of the world join in a multitude of activities with a multi-cultural, highly skilled and caring, high-ratio team of Early Childhood Educators. Both Group and School-Age/Preschool Centres have spaces for special needs children: 5 at Group and 2 at School-Age/Preschool. Each Centre is housed on its own 1/3+ acre of land located in Surrey’s Central City area, close to Surrey Memorial Hospital, Revenue Canada, Central City Mall, several schools, and is only a 12-minute walk to Skytrain. Breakfast, lunch, two snacks and transportation to/from school are included in very reasonable monthly rates. Subsidy is accepted and payment plans are available as well as a “Daycare Discount” for prompt payers.

HAPPY FARM Group Centre for Children (ages 2.5-5)
HAPPY FARM believes in positive reinforcement with choices and chances and positive problem-solving techniques. HAPPY FARM provides the most qualified, professional, creative and fun-loving teachers and general staff in order to conduct a top-class program for the children. In addition to artistic, social, problem-solving and many other skills training offered throughout the week, HAPPY FARM also offers a licensed two and a half hour Advanced Preschool for children ages 3.5-5 Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the school year at the School-Age and Preschool Centre, and a 4.5 hour Basic Preschool Program which operates throughout the year at the Group Centre.
HAPPY FARM operates year round and while several off site summertime field trips and an excellent program are offered throughout the year to the school-agers, the Group preschoolers who also enjoy a year-round fully-packed program participate in on site field trips. Often, the school-agers enjoy helping to make these on site field trips possible for their smaller counterparts.
Transportation, Meals, and SnacksHAPPY FARM’s hours at both locations are 6am - 7pm. FoodSafe certified staff prepare on-site meals and snacks and these are included in the daily rates paid by the month as is secure, properly equipped transportation (two 8 passenger vans) to and from Betty Huff, AHP Matthew and Cindrich elementary schools.
HAPPY FARM works with parents in providing a payment plan, offering a daycare discount for early or on-time out-of-pocket payments and honors daycare subsidies. Rates are reasonable (please see Policies and Procedures attached).
